Windy and wet north with gales at times, showers in the central Mediterranean

Tuesday
High pressure across Spain and Portugal brings a fine day here. Also fine for the Balearics. Showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Low pressure over Italy brings wet and windy weather. Strong winds for southern France too. Rain for the southern Alps, some snow on the mountains.
Showery for the coasts of the Balkans. Mainly dry for the eastern Mediterranean and around the Black Sea with very mild southerly winds here. Much of eastern Europe will be dry, although risk of a shower for Hungary and Slovakia.
Breezy and mid across northern Europe with some drizzly rain for France, the Low Countries and Germany. Risk of heavier rain in western France. Heavy rain also develops later for Denmark. Spells of rain affect Sweden, Finland and the Baltic states. Showery for western Norway. Breezy around the Baltic. Chillier toward the far north with some snow.

Wednesday
A fair date across much of Portugal and Spain. The Balearics will be dry too with some sunshine. Scattered showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Some heavy showers and longer spells of rain affecting southern Italy, although northern Italy should be dry with some sunshine. Greece is likely to have a fair day with plenty of sunshine, and it will be staying fine across Turkey as well.
An area of the rain passes eastwards through France with brighter, showery weather across northern and western areas. Breezy through The Netherlands with frequent showers. Rain affects much of Germany and Poland, some of this heavy. Hungry should be dry. Austria will have some periods of rain and it will be rather wet in Switzerland with snow over the Alps.
Scattered showers in Denmark and across southern Sweden. Windy for the Baltic states with rain here. More rain affecting Finland although this falling a snow in central and northern Finland. Snow to for northern Sweden. Norway will be brighter with sunny spells and scattered heavy, wintry showers.
