Snow for parts of Scandinavia, showersin the eastern Mediterranean

Wednesday
A fair date across much of Portugal and Spain. The Balearics will be dry too with some sunshine. Scattered showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Some heavy showers and longer spells of rain affecting southern Italy, although northern Italy should be dry with some sunshine. Greece is likely to have a fair day with plenty of sunshine, and it will be staying fine across Turkey as well.
An area of the rain passes eastwards through France with brighter, showery weather across northern and western areas. Breezy through The Netherlands with frequent showers. Rain affects much of Germany and Poland, some of this heavy. Hungry should be dry. Austria will have some periods of rain and it will be rather wet in Switzerland with snow over the Alps.
Scattered showers in Denmark and across southern Sweden. Windy for the Baltic states with rain here. More rain affecting Finland although this falling a snow in central and northern Finland. Snow to for northern Sweden. Norway will be brighter with sunny spells and scattered heavy, wintry showers.

Thursday
Another fair day through Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come in the Balearics too. Italy will be dry with lots of sunshine throughout the day. Some showers affecting southern and eastern Greece as well as western Turkey. Most of Turkey should be fair with lots of sunshine again.
Outbreaks of rain affecting central parts of France on Thursday. A few showers to the site. Brighter and drier across the north. Windy and cold through the Netherlands as well as much of Germany with some wintry showers. Heavy, wintry showers affecting Poland where it will also be windy. Some showers for Hungary and Austria as well as northern Switzerland.
Windy and cold across Denmark with frequent showers. Staying windy in much of Sweden with snow in the east. Further snow and strong winds affecting much of the Baltic states with heavy snow in southern Finland. Dry and brighter for Norway with some sunny spells, but some showers in the west.
