Cold in eastern Europe with sleet and snow, drier and brighter in the west

Wednesday
Wednesday is going to be a dry day with lots of sunshine in Spain and Portugal. Scattered showers affecting the Balearics. Further sunshine in Italy and dry here. Heavy periods of rain and showers in Greece with a risk of thunder, hail and some snow. Further heavy and thundery rain in western and southern Turkey. Dry and sunny in the east.
France will have some morning mist patches. These clear to leave the day dry and sunny for most. A few showers in northern and eastern France. Windy and cold with frequent showers in the Low Countries and Germany. Some sleet and snow may affect southern Germany as well as much of Poland. Hungary will have further wintry showers, these merging to longer periods of rain and snow.
Breezy and cold in Denmark. Staying cold with a few wintry showers in the Baltic States. Finland stays cold, a risk of some showers here too. The cold weather continues in Sweden, some wintry showers in the east and south. Heavier snow showers affecting western and northern Norway.

Thursday
Another fair day in Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. More sunshine in the central Mediterranean with a much better day of weather in Italy. Windy for Greece and cold with a northerly wind. Heavy rain and some sleet in eastern Greece, windy and cold here as well. Heavier and thundery rain, sleet and some snow for western Turkey. eastern Turkey should be dry with lots of sunshine.
Cloud and some spots of rain in norther France. The rest of France will be dry with more sunshine here. Breezy for the Netherlands with broken cloud. A band of rain passing east through Germany, reaching western Poland later. Hungary will be bright with some sunny spells in the eats but rain in the west. Austria and Hungary will have broken cloud and should be dry.
Wind and rain as well as drizzle in Denmark. The Baltic States will be dry and fairly bright. Finland will be dry and rather misty. Dry in Sweden although cloud and rain arriving later. Windy in Norway with heavy rain in the west, some snow in the north.
