Fine Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine, windy with outbreaks of rain to the north

Thursday
Another fair day through Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come in the Balearics too. Italy will be dry with lots of sunshine throughout the day. Some showers affecting southern and eastern Greece as well as western Turkey. Most of Turkey should be fair with lots of sunshine again.
Outbreaks of rain affecting central parts of France on Thursday. A few showers to the site. Brighter and drier across the north. Windy and cold through the Netherlands as well as much of Germany with some wintry showers. Heavy, wintry showers affecting Poland where it will also be windy. Some showers for Hungary and Austria as well as northern Switzerland.
Windy and cold across Denmark with frequent showers. Staying windy in much of Sweden with snow in the east. Further snow and strong winds affecting much of the Baltic states with heavy snow in southern Finland. Dry and brighter for Norway with some sunny spells, but some showers in the west.

Friday
Some showers and outbreaks of rain along northern coasts of Spain today. Fair for most of the rest of Spain and Portugal. Sunshine across the Balearics and through all pof Italy. Greece should be fair with sunshine here too. Some showers in eastern Turkey but the west will be dry.
Showers in eastern and southern France. Showers in the northwest of France. Fair for other areas. Windy in the Low Countries with widespread gales. Further gales in northern Germany and northern Poland where there will be rain. Cloudy for the south of Poland, some rain too in southern Germany. Austria should be dry with sunshine whilst some rain affects Switzerland.
Heavy rain and severe gales ion Denmark. The Baltic States should be dry until evening when gales arrive here. Cold through Finland. with snow in the north.Much of central and northern Sweden will be chilly and dry. Snow showers in the west of Norway.
