Unsettled weather clearing the Aegean. Heavy rain moving into the Apine countries.

Thursday
Some patchy rain over northern coasts of Spain. Showers in Portugal and southern Spain but drier in the east. Fair for much of Corsica and Sardinia as well as most of Italy. Mainland Greece will should remain largely dry with some sunny spells. Showery rain across the Greek islands, with heavier periods of rain, some of it thundery, in Turkey.
An area of rain will be affecting central France with some showers in the north. Fair to the south with sunny spells. Windy through Germany with some rain passing east, heavy showers to the north and west. Poland will be windy and mostly dry, but some rain in the west. Hungary and Austria will be fair and dry. Some sunshine in Switzerland too.
Windy with wintry showers across Denmark. The windy weather continues in the Baltic States, but dry here. Windy and rain turning to snow in Finland. Further rain and snow for southern Sweden but dry to the north. Heavy sleet and snow showers in western and northern Norway.

Friday
Rain turning heavy for a time across central parts of Spain overnight though easing back to scattered showers through the day. One or two showers for Portugal too. Showers to affect the Balearics but largely dry for Corsica and Sardinia. One or two showers dotted down coastal areas of Italy. A better day for Greece and Turkey with rain clearing here.
With pressure build over France expect a mainly dry day with any showers in the east clearing. Heavy showers though to affect Switzerland and Austria inot northern parts of Croatia, drier further south. A wet and windy start for the Low Countries and Germany but rain clears and winds ease back. A few showers dotted across Poland but mostly dry here.
Rain and high winds easing and clearing across Denmark. Snow to contionue to push in on to western areas of Norway, drier further east and south. Largely dry with sunny spells for Sweden. Rain, sleet and snow clearing Finland. Staying breezy with some showers to affect the Baltics.
