Cold central and northern Europe, rain in the Mediterranean

Wednesday
Rain for central and northern Spain on Wednesday. Southern areas of Spain and all of Portugal should be dry with sunny spells. Rain in the Balearics with showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Some showers in western Italy otherwise fair. Scattered showers for Greece. Turkey will be windy and unsettled with rain, sleet and snow.
Rain for the south of France but cold and fair in central and northern areas. Fair and cold for the Low Countries and Germany with some sunny spells. Poland should be cold and dry, some fog here. Hungary will be cold too with a further risk of somem fog. Bright and dry in Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will be bright and cold as well as dry. Windy in the Baltic States and cold here. Some snow flurries for Finland where it will be dry and cold. Similar in Sweden with lots of cold, dry weather. Gales for Norway bringing a bitter windchill. Snow in northern Norway, dry to the south.

Thursday
A few showers in northern Spain on Thursday. The rest of Spain and Portugal should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Cold and damp through the Balearics. Rain in central and southern Italy but fair to the north. Rain in western Greece but fair in the east. Sunny spells and dry in Turkey.
Breezy and cold in France with sunny spells. Chilly for the Low Countries, cold through Germany and Poland but sunny spells here. Fine and cold in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Cold for Denmark with sunny spells. Windy and bitterly cold in the Baltic States. Windy and cold through Finland. Staying cold in Sweden. Heavy showers in central and northern Norway and cold here as well.
