Outbreaks of rain in west, some snow in north. Dry and very cold in northeast.

Thursday
A rather cloudy day over Portugal and Spain with a band of rain spreading east from the day, this heavy in places, and windy in exposure. Similar over France with heavy rain and strong winds.in northwest, lighter elsewhere. A low pressure system will give outbreaks of rain over the British Isles with some snow even down to very low levels in north. Windy. Unsettled over the Low Countries too with some heavy rain, possibly snow over Holland. Cloudy over Germany with outbreaks of rain, some heavy snow in north. Occasional snow over Poland, maybe heavier in north later. Generally cold but mostly dry in the morning over Scandinavia, but some light snow is possible later over southern Sweden. Very cold over Finland and the Baltic States with some light snow in the evening. A mostly dry start over Belarus and Ukraine but some snow is expected later.
Some early rain and hill snow over Switzerland and Austria in the morning, but turning drier later but still rather cloudy. Outbreaks of rain over Czechia and Slovakia, perhaps some snow in north. Hungary and Romania will see a rather cloudy but dry day. A fair amount of cloud over most of the Balkans but remaining dry.
A dry an bright start over the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia, but becoming increasingly cloudy through the afternoon with strengthening winds. A mostly dry and bright day over Italy with the best of the sunshine in central and southern parts. A bright day for Greece with long sunny spells, but for some light rain over the Aegean Islands. Rather cloudy over Turkey with some light rain in west, but dry elsewhere. Dry but cloudy over Cyprus.

Friday
Period of heavy rain for Portugal and Spain along with strong winds. Outbreaks of rain for France, this possibly heavy in south later. Snow over Scotland, with rain over the rest of the British Isles, and windy for all. Outbreaks of rain for the Low Countries. Some early snow over north Germany, but more rain comes later. Rain and snow in north for Poland, but turning drier later from the south. Cold over Scandinavia, with snow over Denmark, this possibly heavy for a time, becoming light and patchy as it moves over southern Sweden. Mostly dry but cold for Finland and the Baltic States, while some snow is expected over Belarus and northern Ukraine.
Cloudy with some rain in west for Switzerland. A rather cloudy day for Austria as well, but it will remain dry. Some light rain in west Czechia otherwise a dry but rather cloudy day. Light and patchy rain for Slovakia and Hungary, possibly for northern parts of Romania too. Rather cloudy for the Balkans with some rain and strong winds in west.
Unsettled for the Balearics with some heavy rain and strong winds. Rather cloudy for Sardinia and Corsica with some rain later. North and Central Italy will see a cloudy day with some light rain, drier and brighter further south. Dry and sunny for Greece, with only some light rain in far southeast. Bright for Turkey with some light rain in south. Cloudy with showers over Cyprus.
