Rain in central areas, fair in the east

Monday
Low pressure system will bring unsettled weather over Western Europe with strong to gale force winds, and heavy rain in places. Brief period of hill snow over the UK.
Some heavy showers over the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia as well as north and west Italy, while over Greece it stays cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this extending over western Turkey later.
Some sleet/snow over the Low Countries but it will turn into rain soon. Otherwise apart from some snow showers over Germany, elsewhere across central and Eastern Europe will enjoy dry and bright condition, but very cold too with some persisting freezing fog in valleys.

Tuesday
Fine for Spain and Portugal on Tuesday. A few showers in the Balearics. Rain for central and southern Italy but fair to the north. Rain too in western Turkey, fair in the east. A few showers for Turkey, some of them heavy.
Sunny spells and scattered showers in western France, fair in the east. Rain and string winds in the Low Countries. Germany will be breezy with some periods of rain too. Poland should be fair with sunny spells. Fine for Hungary and Austria but rain and hill snow in Switzerland.
Rai and sleet in Denmark. Wind and fair conditions for the Baltic States. A fair day in Finland, and dry. Cloud and some rain in the far south of Sweden, fair in the north. Norway will be cold and mostly dry, a few snow showers in the far north.
