Unsettled central and northern Europe, fair to the south


Friday
Fair and very warm over most of Spain and Portugal today. Another fair day in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Italy is looking fine overall, although some heavy thunderstorms could develop in the far north. Greece should be dry with lots of sunshine and it will be staying dry and sunny over Turkey.
Rain in northern France but fine in central and southern areas. Further rain in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fair for most of Poland, but some heavy thunderstorms in the south. Torrential thunderstorms across Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Cloudy with some rain for Denmark. Further rain in southern Sweden as well as across most of the Baltic States. Finland will have rain and showers. Further showers affecting northern parts of Sweden. Norway will have heavy showers in the north, but should be fair to the south.

Saturday
Fair conditions through Spain and Portugal on Saturday. Staying dry through the central Mediterranean, although a few showers breaking out over central parts of Italy. Greece should be fair with plenty of sunshine. Staying fair in Turkey with more sunshine to come here.
Rain in northern parts of France. Fair in central and southern areas of France. Further rain in the Low Countries. More rain for western and southern Germany. Wet in southern and eastern Poland, fair in the west. Wet for Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Denmark will have sunny spells and scattered showers. The Baltic States will be wet, periods of heavy rain. Remaining wet in Finland, some of the rain heavy. Rain in northern Sweden, fair to the south with sunny spells. Fine in southern Sweden, but rain in the north.
