Wet in central Europe, drier to the south with sunny spells


Friday
Staying fine in southern Spain and Portugal. More sunshine in the Balearics and through Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in central Italy, but fair elsewhere. Greece should be dry with sunshine. Fair in western parts of Turkey, but some heavy showers in central and eastern Turkey.
Wet through France with heavy periods of rain, some of it thundery. Further rain in the Low Countries, some heavy again. Further rain in Germany and eastern Poland. Showers through Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Rain and cloud in Denmark. Better weather in the Baltic States and much of Finland, although the western coasts in these areas could have some rain. That rain affects eastern Sweden too. Fair for much of Norway with sunny spells.

Saturday
Plenty of sunshine across much of Spain and Portugal on Saturday. Fair through the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Showers in Italy, some of them heavy in central areas. Greece should be dry with some sunny spells. Heavy showers in much of Turkey, these thundery in places.
Rain through France during much of the day. There will be rain too in the Low Countries and much of northern Germany. Further spells of rain in central and northern Poland. Hungary should be dry, whilst showers affect Switzerland and Hungary.
Sunny spels and showers are the order of the day in Denmark. Showers in the Baltic States and Finland. Sweden will have some heavy showers in central and southern areas. Sunny spells in Norway with a few showers too.
