Friday
High pressure across central and south-western Europe brings extensive dry, bright and warm weather. Temperatures reaching 33C in southern Spain and Portugal, around 25C for Biscay coasts. Up to 28C north of the Pyrenees in south-west France. 18 to 22C in northern France. The Brittany coastline may keep low cloud, murk and drizzle. Dry weather for the Alps, Italy and Mediterranean. Greece and Turkey will also stay dry and sunny, 22 to 25C.
Meanwhile, Germany and Poland will be slightly cooler, 13 to 17C, with a fresh westerly breeze. Some rain for the Baltic states and Belarus. Heavy rain affects western Norway accompanied by strong south-westerly winds. Elsewhere across Scandinavia it will be dry. Some fog patches for Sweden.


Saturday
Little change across most of Europe, with high pressure leading to extensive dry and warm weather. Lots of sunshine across the continent. Some morning fog patches in low-lying regions. Soaring to 32 to 34C in southern Spain and Portugal. Climbing into the mid to high 20s elsewhere across Iberia, plus south & central France. Similar warmth extends to Italy. Warmer than previous days in Germany at around 20C. Dry and warm for south-eastern Europe, although some rain affects northern Turkey. Fronts passing east across Scandinavia bring cloud and outbreaks of rain to Finland and the Baltic states. Rain too in western Norway. Murky with drizzly rain and a fresh breeze for Sweden and Denmark.
