A rather typical summer-time setup is forecast across most of Europe with very warm, humid weather with sunshine and thundery showers.


Sunday
During sunday and a weak area of high pressure will maintain a lot of dry weather across more southern areas of Sweden and Finland with some sunshine, across the rest of Scandinavia showery and also warmer than of late too. Fine weather is still forecast across most of the UK with the exception of a few showers. Low pressure continues to remain slow moving across Spain and Portugal bringing heavy and thundery showers here, cool as well, while very warm and humid conditions extend northwards across Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and across much of central Europe with sunshine but heavy and thundery showers, these locally severe. Much of the Med will also experience plenty of sunshine where it will be very warm too, but afternoon donwpours are possible, especially acros parts of Greece and Turkey where severe storms may develop.

Monday
Through into Monday and mainly dry weather will prevail across north-east Europe, around Poland and some other surrounding countries. MOre unsettled conditions will have developed across most of Scandinavia by this point with some longer spells of rain for more northern areas of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Still cool and showery across much of Spain and Portugal, but with many central areas of Europe from France all the way across towards Germany and surrounding countries having yet another very warm and humid day with heavy downpours and perhaps severe thunderstorms too across parts of France. Little in the way of change through the Med, compared with Saturday with plenty of very warm if not hot sunshine but afternoon storms are possible, perhaps especially across the Balearics and also across Greece and Turkey.
