Heavy thunderstorms in northern Italy and Greece


Tuesday
Cloud spreads across Portugal and Spain with outbreaks of showery rain moving into Portugal and western Spain later. Staying dry to the east of Spain. Heavy thundery downpours continue for Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and Greece. Another dry and sunny day for Turkey.
Variable amounts of cloud with spells of sunshine for many central European countries on Tuesday including France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Occasional showers for northwestern France, the Low Countries, northern Germany and western Poland. Further snowfall expected for the southern Alps.
A breezy day for Denmark, Norway and Sweden with outbreaks of rain, some of it heavy, and snow spreading north across the region. A mostly dry and fine day for the Baltic States. Mostly dry too for Finland but with more cloud here and occasional snow showers to the north.

Wednesday
Rain northern and western Portugal as well as northwest Spain. Some rain in southern Spain. Eastern areas should be drier and brighter. Further heavy showers in Italy, drier to the south. Heavy showers and some thunderstorms for Greece. Turkey will be dry with good spells of sunshine here.
Fair with sunny spells and dry weather in France. The Low Countries should be dry and bright as will be much of Germany, although some cloud in the west here. Poland will be turning chillier with lots of sunshine. Some rain in eastern parts of Hungary but fair to the west. Austria should be mostly far as will be Switzerland.
Fair in Denmark with sunny spells. Breezy in Finland, but dry and sunny. Dry too in Finland and feeing chilly here. Staying dry in most of Sweden and chilly here. Dry for southern Norway but rain and showers to the north.
