Cold and wintry in Scandinavia, fair in central and southern Europe
Showers in southern Spain through today. There will be pleasant sunshine in the Balearics and through Corsica and Sardinia. Fair for most of Italyalthough with some morning mist and fog patches here. Greece should be dry with sunshine. Col ion Turkey, sunshine in the west but some sleet and snow in the east.
France will have some mist and fog in northern areas, but the south should be brighter with sunny spells. Further spells of sunshine in the Low Countries with some patchy rain and breezy weather for northern Germany. Rain and breezy in northern Poland. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be dry with some sunny spells.
Breezy in Denmark as rain passes east. Breezy and damp in the Baltic States and Finland. Fair for Sweden and dry here. Some rain in western Norway, this being heavy in places. Snow showers to the north.
A fair day on Thursday across Spain and Portugal. Fair too in the Balearics and across Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be dry too with more sunshine here. Greece will be dry and sunny with Turkey enjoying mostly fair conditions as well.
Some cloud and showery rain in the far north of France. Dry for most areas with sunny spells. Cold in the Netherlands with sunshine and scattered showers. Windy with frequent showers, some wintry across much of Germany, more persistent rain in the south. Wind and cold conditions with sunshine and showers in Germany. Further coud and rain in Hungary. Austria and Switzerland should be dry with sunny spells.
Windy and cold through Denmark, a few showers here. Sleet, snow and wind in the Baltic States. Snow for eastern and southern Finland, drier to the north. Norway will have frequent and heavy snow showers in the west and north.
