Mixed conditions for northern Europe while the south sees plenty of fine weather


Friday
Isolated showers in northern and central parts of Spain on Friday, but most of Iberia should be fair with good spells of sunshine. It will be feeling a warm here too. A fine day through the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia. Plenty of sunshine and dry weather for Italy and Greece too. Turkey will also be dry with plenty of sunshine.
France will have a warm day with lots of sunshine although some rain may affect the far north-west. Breezy through the Low Countries with outbreaks of rain along the coast. Remaining warm through Germany and Poland although there could be some rain along northern coasts. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will all be dry with more sunshine.
Wet and windy from Denmark with heavy periods of rain here and this rain and wind affecting the far south of Sweden too. Remaining windy with more rain in the Baltic States and staying cold with heavy showers for Finland. Northern Sweden should be dry and it will be mostly dry and cool in northern Norway too. Rain will affect the south western part of Norway.

Saturday
Another mostly fair day for the Iberian peninsula with scattered showers affecting Spain through the afternoon. Dry for Portugal with variable amounts of cloud. Dry and fine for the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. Plenty of sunshine for Greece and Turkey where it will also be feeling warm.
Outbreaks of rain becoming increasingly showery for the northwest coast of France, coastal regions of the Low Countries and northern coasts of Germany and Poland on Saturday. Scattered showers developing across central France through the afternoon but much of western and central Europe sees a dry day with plenty of autumnal sunshine.
Rain eases for Denmark and southern Sweden leaving scattered showers through Saturday. Coastal rain continues for the southwest coast of Norway. Heavy rain sweeps northeastward through the Baltic States and southern Finland leaving a cloudy afternoon with scattered showers. Drier to the north of Finland, Sweden and Norway with scattered wintry showers.
