Cool northwesterlies around the Baltic

Friday
Showers in northern and western parts of Spain, but fair in the south of Spain and Portugal. Fair too in eastern Spain. Italy should be staying fair with good spells of sunshine here. Greece should fine too with more sunshine. Mainly fine in Turkey, although some showers could affect the east.
France should be dry with sunny spells. Staying bright in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland, more sunshine to come here. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland are likely to be staying dry too and should be sunny.
Denmark is likely to be fine with sunny spells. Sunshine and scattered showers across the Baltic States and Finland, feeling cool. Sweden should be dry and cool with plenty of sunshine. A few showers affecting western coasts of Norway.

Saturday
High pressure centred over central-eastern Europe and the Baltic maintains plenty of fair weather across the continent. Slack low pressure exists toward the west, and will bring areas of rain and possible thunder to central and northern Spain. The south & east of Spain, and most of Portugal stays generally dry.
Some rain may encroach into west and southwestern France, but most of France stays dry and warm. Extensive dry and warm weather for Italy, the Alps, Germany and the Low Countries, plus countries further east including Poland, Hungary and Romania. Chance of isolated showers for Bulgaria and northern Greece. The Mediterranean also stays generally dry.
Cooler across Scandinavia, but dry around the Baltic, including most of Sweden and Finland. Scattered showers in the far north. Meanwhile, a frontal system moves into southern Norway bringing rain, some of which may also affect Denmark for a time, and later the far southwest of Sweden.
