Unsettled western Europe, cold and dry much of Scandinavia

Thursday
Rain in northern and western parts of Spain today. Further rain and some showers in Portugal. Fair for the east and south of Spain with sunny spells. Italy will be dry with some sunshine and it will be staying fair in Greece too. Heavy showers in Turkey, most of them in the east.
Rain and wind for the northwest of France. Fair in the south and east of France. Windy in the Low Countries but dry until evening. Some rain in eastern Germany, but fair in the west. A few showers or rain in Poland. Broken cloud in Hungary and Austria with a scattering of showers. Dry for Switzerland with some sunny spells.
Cloud in Denmark with a few spots of drizzle. Cold for the Baltic States with sunny spells. Staying cold and breezy in Finland. Chilly too in Sweden, some wintry showers in the east. Some wind and rain or sleet in southwestern Norway, tending to be drier to the north although cloud.

Friday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal on Thursday. There will be some rain or showers in northeastern Spain. Rain too through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Fair for much of Italy but some showery rain in the west. Greece should have a fair day with plenty of sunshine here. Fair too in western Turkey but rain and snow through central and eastern areas.
Some showers in western France but brighter to the east. Mostly fair for the Low Countries with some sunny spells. Rain passes east through Germany. Poland will be fair with sunny spells. Hungary will have a fair day too, as well Austria although some rain afecting western Switzerland.
A cloudy day in Denmark with rain here. Cold in the Baltic States with some light snow. Cold too in Finland but dry here. Some light snow in eastern Sweden otherwise dry and cold. Rain, sleet and strong winds in southwest Norway but drier in the north.
