Low pressure brings unsettled conditions to much of central Europe this weekend


Saturday
Showers affect northern and eastern parts of Spain on Saturday. Portugal and the rest of Spain however should stay dry and fine with sunshine. Cloud will thicken across the Balearic Islands with outbreaks of rain, some thundery expected in the afternoon here. Dry however across Sardinia and Corsica as well as across Siciliy and much of Italy although with rain, heavy at times across northern Italy. Dry and fine over Greece and Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain, these locally heavy, affect northwestern portions of France and Germany as well as the Low Countries. A breezy day here too for coastal areas. Another band of rain, this again locally heavy and thundery, affects the far southwest of France, southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and eastern Poland. Drier and brighter between these two rain bands for central parts of France and Germany and for western Poland.
A windy, wet and cloudy day for Denmark once again and rain will affect southern Sweden before moving into southern Finland. Sunny spells and showers across the rest of Scandinavia. Cloudy, wet and windy for the Baltic States with rain heavy at times in the morning.

Sunday
Showers affect the far north of Spain on Sunday but otherwise its a dry, fine and warm day over Iberia. Dry, sunny and warm too for the Balearic Islands and southern Italy while northern portions of Italy will be cloudier with outbreaks of rain. Greece and Turkey see the continuation of hot, dry and sunny condtions.
Low pressure over central Europe brings outbreaks of rain and breezy conditions to parts of France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland on Sunday. Drier weather spreads east from western France through the afternoon. A dry but overcast day for much of Slovakia and Hungary. A bright but showery day for the Benelux region.
A bright day with isolated showers for Denmark while a band of heavy rain affects Lithuania. Drier for Estonia and Latvia but rather cloudy here. Another band of rain makes its way eastward over central Norway and Sweden on Sunday with brighter conditions following from the west over Norway. A bright day too for Finland though it will be showery here.
