Afternoon showers affect much of Europe over the coming two days
A fine day for Portugal and Spain on Monday with scattered thunderstorms developing over eastern Spain during the afternoon. Dry, warm and sunny for the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy with isolated thunderstorms developing over the far north and south of Italy as well as Sicily later. Greece and Turkey are also warm and sunny on Monday with afternoon thunderstorms affectign northern and southern coastal regions of Turkey.
Rather cloudy for France, Switzerland, the Low Countries and Germany with scattered showers, some of these thundery, firing up later. A mostly dry and fair day for Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland though the odd shower could develop here too at times. Showers ease into the evening.
Dry and fine for much of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland on Monday. Perhaps slightly cloudy at times over Denmark while the southern tip of Sweden could see the development of showers at times. Mostly dry and fine for the Baltic States too though a few thunderstorms could pop up over northern areas during the afternoon.
Afternoon thunderstorms develop over Spain once again on Tuesday, these may be locally heavy. Staying drier to the west and for Portugal. The Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Italy see a mostly warm and sunny day though afternoon showers develop along the west coast of Italy. Mostly dry, warm and sunny across Greece and Turkey.
Afternoon showers also affect much of France, Switzerland, Germany, the Low Countries, Austria and the Czech Republic on Tuesday. Otherwise it's a fine day across this part of Europe with the besy of the sun over northern areas.
High pressure over Scandinavia continues to bring settled conditions to much of northern Europe. A dry and fine day for Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Baltic States. Isolated showers may affect northern Denmark and far southern portions of Norway and Sweden.
