An area of low pressure brings heavy rain into Iberia on Tuesday
Wintry showers for the Pyrenees and Cantabrian Mountains but otherwise dry and bright across northern Spain and Portugal. Showers develop to the south - these sometimes heavy and thundery. Showery for the Balearic Islands and Italy, some of which, again, could be rather heavy. Showers develop over Greece too while showers ease from eastern Turkey to leave a bright day here.
Wintry showers affect southern France while it stays dry and bright to the north. Mostly dry and bright for the Low Countries and Germany too though there could be isolated showers here at times to the north. Mostly dry and bright for Poland and the Czech Republic. Snow at first for Switzerland and Austria though this tends to ease through the day.
A few showers for southern Denmark but otherwise dry and bright. Dry and bright too for the Baltic States with wintry showers arriving to the west later. Mostly dry and bright across Norway, Sweden and Finland with isolated wintry showers for southern Finland at first and arriving over western Norway later.
Heavy outbreaks of rain for southern Portugal and spreading across much of Spain and the Balearic Islands. Drier for Portugal and western Spain later. Showery again for Italy with the heaviest of these to the south. A showery day too for Greece and Turkey with the heaviest showers focussed over southern Turkey.
A mostly dry and bright day across France, the Low Countries and Germany, perhaps cloudier to the south. Wintry showers and cloud clear from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to leave a dry and bright end to the day here. A mixed day for Switzerland, Austria and Hungary with broken cloud, sunny spells and occasional wintry showers.
Cloudy for Denmark with isolated showers to the west. Starting dry and fine for the Baltic States though cloud builds here later. Bands of snow spread across northern and central parts of Norway and Sweden, reaching much of Finland later. Staying mostly dry and bright for southern Norway and Sweden though there could be the odd wintry shower here.
