Cold with snow showers across Scandinavia

Today
Chilly temperatures prevail across northern Europe but warm across south east Europe and hot across Iberia. A fine, summery day for Portugal and Spain with sunny skies. An area of rain is expected across much of France and southern Germany. Frequent heavy showers are forecast across northern Germany, Austria, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, the western Ukraine and the Adriatic Region. Another area of rain is expected across Poland and Belarus with showers across the Baltic States. A few showers as well across the Low Countries. Rain is likely across southern Sweden with snow showers inn the north and in the north of Norway and Finland. Occasional showers to affect Italy and Turkey with a dry day across Greece.



Monday
Hot across Iberia today and staying summery across Portugal and Spain with unbroken sunshine. Dry across the south of France but across central and northern areas a number of showers are expected. A wet day across Germany with spells of rain. Some rain too across parts of Poland and this looks heavy across Belarus. Heavy showers are also forecast across the Adriatic Region, Austria, The Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, the Ukraine and across southern Russia. Colder across northern Russia with snow and heavy snow showers are likely across Finland. Some dry spells are expected across Norway and Sweden but a cold day with a few wintry showers. Fair and dry across Denmark with showers for parts of Belgium and The Netherlands. Heavy showers and longer spells of rain to come across Italy today. Lots of showers across eastern Turkey but the west will be fine and dry. Another windy day is forecast across southern France.
